Vancouver Riots

Wednesday, crowds of people gathered in the streets below our hotel room to watch the final ice hockey game which would decide the winner of the Stanley Cup. It looked the same as Game Six. It was played in Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

For no reason - I did not realise maybe why until much later - Boxers was in my head all day.
We went up to Grouse Mountain for dinner. We caught the (last?) Sea Bus back to downtown.

8:30ish
Sea Bus
What's that smoke
coming from?
Our hotel.
Oh ha ha.
[it was actually close to our hotel]

A police escort for a bus full of riot Police

Its just aggressive
people, again, like I said,
throwing things at windows, and

People told us to not go near Hastings because it was the bad part of town. Turns out, in the case of a riot, Hastings is the best place to be. Another Blenz cafe on Granville was looted.

Post Office
broken door
upside down car
upside down toilets
(where the) big screen truck (was)
looted liquor shop
our room

This is the car that was upside down and burned outside the post office. This is probably the smoke we saw from the Sea Bus.
